NEW HORIZONS BLOWS PAST URANUS

 

Proving its nickname - "The Fastest Spaceship Ever Launched" - is not hyperbole, New Horizons passed through Uranus' orbit earlier this month, 1.8 billion from Earth, and right on schedule for its arrival at the planet Pluto in a little more than 4 years.
